When baby is crying..

When your baby is crying, read he/she a surah. Any surah that you memorize. Ayatul Kursi maybe. Recite it melodiously. Banish the shayateen away. in sha'a Allah. :)

"The crying of the child (at birth) starts when satan touches him." (Muslim)

Abu Huraira reported Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) as saying: The satan touches every son of Adam on the day when his mother gives birth to him with the exception of Mary and her son. (Muslim, 5838)

Why exception for Mary and her son (Prophet Jesus AS)? Because of...

But when she delivered her, she said, "My Lord, I have delivered a female." And Allah was most knowing of what she delivered, "And the male is not like the female. And I have named her Mary, and I seek refuge for her in You and [for] her descendants from Satan, the expelled [from the mercy of Allah ]." 
(Al-Imran, 3:36)
